Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry Empty Bowls in Jackson County

Every Can You Donate is a Meal to Someone in Need

The Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry Empty Bowls in Jackson County food drive is held every October at the Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry. The event features hand-turned pottery provided by volunteers at The Bascom in Highlands, NC. We serve individuals and families in all areas of Jackson County, the surrounding areas in Western North Carolina, and beyond.

At our Food Pantry’s Empty Bowls in Jackson County event, guests can keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world after making a cash donation. The money raised is donated to an organization working to alleviate hunger and food insecurity.
