Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry, Inc. offers volunteer opportunities in Jackson County to support the community.
Three community volunteers staff the food pantry each Monday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Duties include:
- Packing and organizing food boxes
- Handing out prepared boxes of groceries to individuals and families requesting food
- Carrying food boxes and loading into vehicles as needed
- Assisting with food drives in July and October and other yearly events
Every other Friday morning, the freezers, cooler, and shelves are stocked with food received from MANNA FoodBank or purchased from Ingles grocery store. Boxes are packed with grocery items and placed on shelves to be distributed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Visit our food pantry to receive 1-2 boxes of non-perishable food items, meat, bread, fresh produce, and fruit when available Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
